Sub: Request for a meeting on some pending important issues.
R/Sir,
This Association had submitted Memorandum vide our Letter No. IMD/NGSSA/45/2006 dated 30-11-2006 based on consensus of resolutions passed unanimously in our 5th Association Council Meet (9th-11th October, 2006) at Pune and meeting with your good self to this effect was held on 27th February, 2007. The minutes of the meeting was communicated to this Association vide DGM’s Letter No. B-12019 (NGSSA)/06-E (3) dated 12th April, 2007.
The Association would therefore like to discuss on the following Agenda points:
1. Status-Report of the minutes of the meeting held on 27th
February, 2007.
2. Status of Manpower Restructuring Committee Report of IMD.
3. Status of Recruitment- Rules of Assistant Meteorologist Gr-II
pending in UPSC.
4. Anomaly (before and after break) in ad-hoc promotion/posting
of S.O to S.A. and S.A. to AM-II cadre list and delay in
resumption of charge after break of service.
5. Pending Seniority list of Radio-Mechanic/ Mechanic Gr-I as discussed in meeting on 27th February, 2007.
6. Status of SDA incentives to North-East employees of IMD and non-receipt of SDA arrears to IMD employees of Agartala under RMC Kolkata region.
7. Victimization of persons invoking RTI Act-2005.
It is therefore requested that a meeting on the above agenda points be arranged with the representatives of this Association at the earliest. The minutes of the meeting may kindly be recorded.
