Forward march of Monsoon-2026 begins

After a long pause the monsoon finally started its onwards journey into India, slowly but steadily.

The monsoon map of India shows its Northern Limits further advanced into Maharashtra covering Pune and remaining parts of konkan and some parts of south Chhattisgarh too.

Conditions are favourable for further advancement of Monsoon covering entire western coast of Maharashtra including Mumbai and parts of West and southwest vidarbha and Chhattisgarh region by this weekend.

Pre-monsoon showers will make their presence on 

23rd June 2026 

in parts of Nagpur and and large parts of vidarbha and Chhattisgarh regions (Bhandara Ramtek and in Raipur Bilaspur Ambikapur)

24th June 2026

In parts of south MP including chindwara Betul Seoni regions, East vidarbha and chtg region

25th June 2026

Nagpur Amravati chindwara and many parts of chtg

26th June 2026

Light rainfall in Wardha katol chd seoni Rajnandgaon Raipur Bilaspur regions and moderate rainfall in Amravati Akola.

27th June 2026

Very light rainfall in some parts of Nagpur
